Amazon opens up Alexa blueprints to help enterprises build voice apps for employees


Amazon has just declared Alexa for business for companies to create voice skills exclusive to their workplace employees. If you are enterprise, you can also use the tool to build voice apps easily accessible to your employees, without having to mention the code.

Reported by Engadget, there are numbers of blueprints to create the voice-activated commands. These include many of the most frequently asked queries by employees like ‘When does open enrollment start?’, ‘What’s the guest Wi-Fi password?’, and ‘How do I set up email on my phone?’.

Alexa for Business includes blueprints for an effortless onboarding of newbies with responses to common queries, along with the ability to broadcast pre-recorded messages as well. With the readymade blueprints, enterprise employees will have to simply input their own responses, exclusive to their company.
