Alia Bhatt to romance Salman Khan in Bhansali’s epic love story ‘Inshallah’

Calling a rest to all speculations, Alia Bhatt announced her next film, titled ‘Inshallah’. The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali which stars Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan in the lead role.

This is the first time that both actors will be seen together, sharing the big screen.

Expressing her great excitement, Alia Bhatt on Twitter wrote, “Dream with your eyes wide open they say & I did. Sanjay Sir and Salman Khan are magical together & I can’t wait to join them on this beautiful journey called “Inshallah” #Inshallah #SLB @BeingSalmanKhan @bhansali_produc @SKFilmsOfficial @prerna982.”

In another tweet, she told how nervous she was when she visited Bhansali’s office at the age of 9 and how long she has to wait to work with him. She said, “I was 9 when I first walked into Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office, all nervous and hoping and praying that I would be in his next film. It’s been a long wait.”

Excited to announce this, Salman took it to Twitter, “It’s been 20 years but I am glad Sanjay and I are finally back in his next film, Inshallah. Looking forward to work with Alia and inshallah we will all be blessed on this journey.#Inshallah #SLB @aliaa08 @bhansali_produc @SKFilmsOfficial”

After a gap of 20 years, Salman Khan would be reuniting with Bhansali. Even though, he did a cameo in Saawariya in 2007 which was directed by Bhansali.

The actor-director had done films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Khamoshi: The Musical. Their last film was Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, which was released in 1999.
