Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar shared the first glimpses from his upcoming film ‘Kesari’. Filmmakers will be releasing these clippings in parts and Akshay took to his Twitter account to share the first part.
Sharing the picture, he captioned: “It’s an UNBELIEVABLE TRUE STORY. Presenting the first one from the #GlimpsesOfKesari. #KesariTrailer21Feb.”

In a small clip, the viewers can see snippets of the Battle of Saragarhi, one of the most popular battles fought by Sikhs in 1897. The battle of Sikhs soldiers against Afghan Orakzai tribesmen in North-West Frontier Province (now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa).
In the 30-seconds video, a few glimpses of the battle is seen with soldiers running and roaring swinging around weapons.
In the morning, earlier the makers treated the fans with a brand new poster of Akshay Kumar, in which the actor looks courageous and fierce.
The film poster is about Akshay’s character and can be seen wearing a saffron turban with a sword in his hand. Akshay shared the poster on his Instagram account.
Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film is based on the Battle of Saragarhi 1897, where an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans. In the film, Akshay will be seen portraying the role of Havildar Ishar Singh.
The film is directed by Anurag Singh and also stars Parineeti Chopra in the lead role. The film is all set to hit the theatres on March 21, giving fans a perfect Holi gift.
On the work front, other than Kesari, Akshay will also be seen in ‘Good News’ and ‘Mission Mangal’, whereas, Parineeti will soon be seen in ‘Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar’ with Arjun Kapoor and ‘Jabariya Jodi’.
