Air India To Open Flight Bookings, Is Lockdown Getting Over?

The airline services were on hold due to the coronavirus lockdown but it seems like now Air India will resume shortly. The airline industries faced a crisis due to the lockdown and many employees also faced the consequences. The second phase of the lockdown will be over on 4th May.

As per the update, the Air India will resume International flights from June 1. The domestic flights for some routes will be resumed from 4 May. The routes will include the metro cities such as Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai.

PM Modi announced a lockdown on March 24 and it was supposed to end on 14 April. However, the conditioned did not get any better so the lockdown for extended till May 3.
