Advertising On OLX Put A Man From Gujarat In Trouble, Read Full Story

The reason to sell the statue was even weirder. This person advertises for the selling on OLX to meet the expense of hospital and medical equipment.

Now an FIR is registered against the person after an advertisement in a newspaper. And the police find the person. Also, a case of cheating and forgery against him is filed. Inspector PT Chaudhary has filed the case under IPC, Epidemic Diseases Act, and Information Technology.

Also, after the news came, the OLX website took off the advertisement. To this, the Statue of Unity’s chief administrator said, “ the person misleads and defames the government through such an ad despite being not authorized for it. “
