Adani Airport Holdings is considering bidding for ground handling services in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The space has been created in both these airports after the withdrawal of Turkish company Celebi (Celebi Hava exit India). Ground handling will be a new business for Adani Airport. If Adani Airports is successful in getting the bid for ground handling at Mumbai and Ahmedabad airports, then it will be the third ground handler company at both these airports. According to Indian rules, airports with an annual capacity of at least 1 million passengers will have three ground handling companies.

Which Banks Funded the Loan – Adani Group company Adani Airports has raised a foreign loan of $750 million (Adani Airports foreign loan). The international banks providing loans include First Abu Dhabi Bank, Barclays and Standard Chartered Bank. The company has given this information by issuing a statement on Wednesday.

How Will the Funds Be Utilized – Adani Airports will use this amount to refinance existing debt, upgrade infrastructure and expand capacity at the airport. Adani Airports’ Expansion Roadmap – The company has said that in the financial year 2024-25, 9.4 crore passengers arrived at its operational airports. Their capacity is 11 crore passengers. By 2040, it wants to increase the passenger capacity by 3 times to 30 crore. Under this road map, Navi Mumbai International Airport is going to start soon. It is expected to add 2 crore passengers in its first phase. After completion of all the phases, its capacity will increase to 9 crore annually.
