Vineet asked an important question regarding Siya- “Aapke Shahar Mein Hai Kya?” Then he mentioned places where the movie did not get a screen space in theatres despite being the latest release.

Though Siya movie has no popular faces from Bollywood, director Manish Mundra brought a must-watch story.

Siya Movie Review- The Dark Side of Society
The movie’s name is chosen ‘Siya’ because the name is a symbol of purity but also reflects how a woman has to walk on fire to prove her dignity.
Played by Pooja Pandey, Siya movie is a story of a 17-year-old girl from Uttar Pradesh. No surprise, why UP was chosen? The story will remind you of Unnao, Hathras, and all such tragedies faced by innocent girls.
But in the story, the victim does not stand back and accept the brutality that happened to her. She fights back and brings a storm into the vicious system of the country.
Vineet Kumar as Mahendra is a lawyer who supports Siya in her battle. His character Mahendra is someone who is not related to the victim, and he is not financially strong. Despite all, he supports Siya for humanity.
Both the actors have given an honest performance and promised to bring goosebumps with their acting skills.
In fact, the story is very engrossing. Director Manish Mundra deserves an appreciation for picking the deserving artists for the Siya movie.

Siya Movie Was Mentally Heavy, Says Pooja Pandey
Pooja Pandey, the lead actor, disclosed in an interview how mentally heavy the film was. She was even kept in a dark room alone during the shoot of the abduction scene to bring her into the character. It took 6-7 days to shoot that part.
