A new gaming universe is there to conquer the human beings! At IFA, there’s the greatest announcement of the year 2018 until now is the Acer’s new Predator gaming chair.
This is for the game elites (a community for true gamers). The reason why only one screen and a chair made for the humans won’t be enough. What all you need is the latest tech from Acer- all-new Predator Thronos gaming chair, a steel monster chair almost 5-feet-tall “in intimidating dual-tone black with white or blue significances.”
The gaming chair’s armrest is also adjustable. On the left armrest which will make you feel like a captain of the ship, where you can command your own private gaming ship. The gaming chair weighs over 485 pounds, isn’t that huge?
This is the hardware, you can imagine only in the wildest of your gaming dreams.
As one of the cool technology gadgets, Game Chair has a footrest too, provided to lock your feet on. The Predator Thronos stretches out up to 140 degrees, giving every individual an ample amount of space to lay back and enjoy your favorite games across up to three 27-inch displays. You can attach and go to a hunter PC of your choice.
As per the sources, if anyone is not deeply engaged enough, the chair vibrates when you’re hit in-game, which sounds similar to the haptic feedback (relating to the sense of touch) you get with the controllers. Acer has a clear picture in the mind of Predator Thronos as the, uh, throne of gamers who live and breathe the brand. “Integrated with a Predator PC and triple Predator monitors plus gadgets, the Thronos becomes something more than just a gaming chair, it looks like a cave for the gamers.
Ready Player One?
Once the person is comfortable and slides in the territory of gaming, you will experience explosion, gunshots, and more as the chair vibrates while you try to make it through the war zone.
Coming to more details the game process, one disadvantageous phase of Thronos is that despite nearly grabbing you in a gaming PC, there are no integrated speakers, which means you’ve to plug into your own or use a pair of headphones. This means it seems like a failure for a device.
What’s not revealed yet?
Acer still hasn’t announced the pricing or release date information for the Predator Thronos, surely you don’t expect it to be cheap. Hypnotic for inviting chairs are nothing new, though this innovation by Acer in the Game arena is certainly beautiful and alternatives like The Emperor chair by MWE Labs can start at $5,000. The awesome-looking workstations by Imperator Works also sell for many thousands of dollars depending on the configuration you choose.
And definitely, the cost doesn’t include the PC and monitors. You’ll need to BYO (Bring Your Own). And if you’re moving back and forth chair like this, you’ll probably want an equally comfortable, pleasure-loving, lavish computing set-up.
Note that Acer’s marketing has pushed you towards furnishing the Thrones with other Predator gear, but you can swap in any PC or monitor that fits in the machinery’s overhead support. Having been said that, a trio of Acer Predator X27 G-Sync HDR monitors sounds like the best and a worthy configuration. Is it?
As per the latest technology news and sources of Acer, they will make their way to India around December this year and will be priced around ₹8,00,000. It’s an estimation!
