Upcoming New Cars: New cars are launched by automakers in the market before the festive season begins. Doing so helps automakers to increase sales on one hand, while on the other hand, customers also benefit from it.

September is also going to be just as exciting as August, with brands like Tata, Hyundai and MG making several big launches. But that’s not all, Mercedes-Benz is all set to make a splash in India with its first all-electric Maybach SUV. There’s a lot more coming up for you in September,

1- Tata Curvv ICE

Launch: September 2, 2024

Kicking off the series of launches in September 2024 will be the ICE version of the Tata Curvv. The Tata Curvv will be an SUV-coupe that will compete in the compact SUV space in India. Tata has already revealed all the specifications and features of the Curve except for its prices. The electric version of the Curve is already on sale in India, and for more details you can visit here.

The Curvv ICE will also get Tata’s new 125 PS 1.2-litre T-GDi (direct injection) turbo-petrol engine, while it will also get both turbo-petrol and diesel powertrain options from the Nexon. Talking about features, the Curve will get a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch fully digital driver display and a panoramic sunroof. Safety features will include 6 airbags (as standard), 360-degree camera and a full set of Level 2 ADAS features.

2- Hyundai Alcazar Facelift

Launch: September 9, 2024

After the Tata Curvv, the Hyundai Alcazar is set to get a midlife update this month. Hyundai has shown us what the exterior and interior of the Alcazar facelift looks like, and currently bookings for the same have also started for Rs 25,000.

The Alcazar facelift features new styling on the outside and a Creta-inspired dashboard layout on the inside. Hyundai’s 3-row SUV now features dual integrated 10.25-inch screens, dual-zone AC, 8-way powered front seats and wireless phone chargers for both front and second-row seats. Passenger safety will be taken care of by 6 airbags (as standard), 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS. The Alcazar facelift will continue to use the same 160 PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 116 PS 1.5-litre diesel engine options.

3- MG Windsor EV

MG Windsor EV

Launch: September 11, 2024

The MG Windsor EV is basically a rebadged version of the Wuling Cloud EV sold in the Indonesian market, which will be launched in India on September 11. The Windsor EV is basically an electric crossover and features a clean and minimalist design inside and out. Based on previous teasers, the Windsor EV will feature features like a large 15.6-inch touchscreen, panoramic glass roof, and a fully digital driver display.

The specifications of the battery pack and electric motor have not been revealed yet, but we expect it to offer a range of up to 460 km. Customers can also reserve the Windsor EV offline at select MG dealerships.

4- Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680

Mercedes Maybach EQS

Launch: September 5, 2024

The Mercedes-Maybach product line defines the pinnacle of the carmaker’s ultra luxury offerings, including some ICE models like the Maybach S580 or the GLS Maybach 600. In India, we are going to see the first all-electric Maybach in September 2024, which is the Mercedes-Maybach 680 electric SUV.

The Maybach 680 will have the same MBUX Hyperscreen setup as the other EQS models, but will also have Maybach-specific graphics. The luxury electric SUV is expected to have dual motors and has a claimed range of around 600 km.

5- Tata Nexon CNG

Launch: Not confirmed yet

The Tata Nexon is going to get a CNG powertrain option, and its prices are expected to be announced in September. Tata has already showcased the Nexon CNG at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025 and like all other Tata CNG models, the Nexon CNG also features twin cylinder technology for useful boot space. The Nexon CNG will be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which will also be the first turbocharged CNG car in India. It could be offered with both manual and automatic transmission options. It is likely to be priced around Rs 1 lakh higher than the petrol variant of the Nexon.
