Kawasaki Vulcan S launched in India: Kawasaki India has launched the 2025 edition of the Vulcan S in India. It has been introduced with only one change, that is, a new color option called Pearl Matte Sage Green. After which now this bike is also available in the Pearl Matte Sage Green color option. There has been no change in the mechanical specifications of the bike.

The Kawasaki Vulcan S has a cruiser-like low-slung stance, due to which it looks very similar to bikes like Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. Oval shaped headlamp, black-out components and alloy wheels give the bike a modern look.

The Vulcan S has the same basic features as the 650cc Kawasaki. It gets a semi-digital console. It misses out on Bluetooth connectivity and dual-channel ABS. It gets a single-pod headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, exposed frame with a black finish, and a low-slung stance.

The Kawasaki Vulcan S gets a strong and efficient 649cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. It produces 59.9bhp and 62.4Nm of torque. Built on a sturdy perimeter frame, the Vulcan S handles well. Its 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels offer a good blend of agility and stability. The 41mm telescopic front forks and preload-adjustable rear mono-shock offer a comfortable ride on varying road surfaces.

The Kawasaki Vulcan S uses an 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheel combination. Suspension duties are handled by 41mm Liscopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. Its stopping power comes from a single disc at both ends. The bike has a 14-litre fuel tank, a kerb weight of 235kg, a seat height of 705mm and a ground clearance of 130mm.

The Vulcan S has been priced at Rs 7.10 lakh, ex-showroom. Its price is the same as the previous model. In the Indian market, it will compete directly with the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. However, there is a huge difference in the price and features of both bikes. If your budget is around Rs 8 lakh, then the 2025 Kawasaki Vulcan S can be an option.
