2025 Hyundai Alcazar Launched in India: Starting Price ₹17.21 Lakh

Hyundai India has launched its three-row SUV Hyundai Alcazar in India. The car is now equipped with a new wireless smartphone connectivity feature. It will get a wired-to-wireless adapter. This adapter will provide wireless support to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This feature will be available only in Prestige, Platinum and Signature variants of this car, it is not available in the entry-level Executive variant, because infotainment system is not available in this variant. Apart from this, no changes have been made in the car.

The SUV comes in 4 variants- Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. The petrol variant is priced at Rs 17.21 lakh (ex-showroom) and the diesel variant is priced at Rs 17.22 lakh (ex-showroom). The company launched the facelift model of Alcazar in September 2024.

In the Indian market, Hyundai Alcazar will compete with Mahindra XUV700 three row variant, Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus.

Hyundai has shared car images on social media platform X. The biggest feature of the new Alcazar is its new design, which is inspired by the Creta. The front of the SUV now features a bold front grille with H-shaped LED DRLs, which is accompanied by quad-beam LED headlights.

The car also gets major changes at the rear, including new connected LED tail lamps, a new design tailgate and an updated bumper with a skid plate. On the sides, there are new diamond-cut alloy wheels with black-painted wheel arches and roof rails on top.

In the cabin, the dashboard layout of the Alcazar is similar to that of the Creta. Its central AC vents are now thinner and are placed below the touchscreen unit. The side AC vents are placed in a horizontal shape. The car has been given many premium features like front ventilated seats and dual-camera dash cam setup.

The car has dual 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and instrument cluster. Its center console is also similar to the Hyundai Creta. Hyundai has provided a 12W power socket and USB port along with a wireless phone charger for the front passenger. The new Alcazar will get new seat upholstery with a new tan and blue cabin theme.

The second row has a fixed centre armrest and two captain seats (in the 6-seater version) and individual armrests. It has sunshades for both windows, fold-out trays and flip-out cup holders. The second row passengers will also get captain seats with wing-shaped headrests, rear AC vents, wireless phone charger and two USB ports.

According to the new photo, ventilation function will be available in the front and second row seats of Hyundai Alcazar. It also gets a Bose mode (in the 6-seater version) to create more legroom for the second row passengers by sliding the co-driver seat forward. The 7-seater version will get a tumble-down feature on the second row seat to access the third row. Both its front seats have 8 power adjustments, while the driver seat has two level memory saving function.

Alcazar has the same engine options as Hyundai Creta. It has a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, which generates 160hp of power and 253nm of torque. For transmission, it has the option of 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCT gearbox.

There is also a 1.5-liter diesel engine, which generates 116hp of power and 250Nm of torque. For transmission, the engine is offered with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed DCT gearbox option.

The SUV gets over 70 connected car features, including an air purifier with AQI display, an 8-speaker Bose premium sound system, and wireless charging ports for all rows. The car also gets a panoramic sunroof with voice control, push button start-stop, dual-zone AC, paddle shifters.

Hyundai has provided Level 2 ADAS in Alcazar for safety. It includes Electronic Stability Control (ESC), The Creta will come equipped with 19 safety technologies including Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), surround-view monitor, forward collision warning via front camera, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, all-wheel disc brakes.

Safety features like 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts with reminder for all passengers, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat mount will also be available as standard in the car. In total, more than 70 safety features have been provided in Alcazar.
