Ducati India unveiled the latest version of its Ducati Panigale V4 Super Sports Bike on 5 March 2025, marking a significant update for one of the most reputed motorcycles in the brand lineup. Available in two variants-V4 and V4 S-updated Ducati Panigel V4 are packed with advanced features and state-of-the-art performance that makes it a top contender in the high-demonstration motorcycle segment in India.
Ducati Panigale V4 Design
Many changes have been made in the design of the new Ducati Panigale V4. Its front look has been significantly revamped. It has been given sleeker LED lights instead of the signature triangle projector LED headlights. The fairing and winglets have also been redesigned for better airflow and cooling.
Also, the winglets are now more centrally mounted. These are body coloured as compared to the old carbon fibre finished winglets. The single-sided swingarm is also no longer thereAnd it has been replaced with a double-sided swingarm. Ducati says this gives the bike more stability along with better straight-line performance.
Ducati Panigale V4 Performance
The bike has a 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, which has been re-tuned by the company. This has made the engine 0.5hp more powerful than before. At the same time, its torque has decreased by 2.7Nm. Now this engine generates 216hp of power at 13,500rpm and 120.9Nm of torque at 11,250rpm.
The V4 engine is now also 1 kg lighter than before. For transmission, the engine is tuned to a 6-speed gearbox, which comes with a bi-directional quickshifter slip-and-assist clutch.
Ducati Panigale V4 Advanced Features
The new Ducati Panigale V4 has a new 6.9-inch TFT display with 1280×480 pixel resolution. This instrument console has smartphone connectivity feature via Bluetooth. Apart from this, the bike has features like all-LED lighting setup and auto turn-off indicators.
For rider convenience, the bike has been provided with advanced features like launch control, ride mode, power mode, traction control, wheelie control, slide control, engine brake control and pit limiter. Buyers can also customize features like turn-by-turn navigation, cruise control, anti-theft feature and tyre pressure monitoring system.
Ducati Panigale V4 hardware
The supersport bike is developed on a MotoGP aluminum alloy front frame, which reduces the overall frame weight by 17%. This makes the bike perform even better on the racing track, especially in corners. For comfortable riding, it has 43mm fully adjustable Showa BPF forks in the front and fully adjustable monoshock in the rear. For braking, the bike gets radially mounted Brembo 4-piston calipers with 330mm dual semi-floating discs (10mm larger than before) on the front wheel and 245mm rear disc brakes with 2-piston calipers. It also has switchable dual-channel ABS.
The V4 rides on 17-inch forged aluminium alloy wheels wrapped in 120 section front and 200 section rear Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP-V4 tyres. The bike has a seat height of 850mm but is 7.5kg lighter than before and has a kerb weight of 191kg. The V4 S gets fully adjustable Ohlins suspension at both ends, has a kerb weight of 187kg, which is 4kg lighter than the V4 and has carbon-fibre wheels.
Ducati Panigale V4 Price and Availability
The company has launched the bike in two variants, in which the base variant is Ducati Panigale V4 and the second variant is Ducati Panigale V4S. The company has launched the bike at an ex-showroom price of Rs 29.99 lakh. The ex-showroom price of its top variant is Rs 36.50 lakh. Ducati has informed that the bike will be brought as a completely CBU and its first batch has already been booked before the launch. The deliveries of the first batch have begun since the launch and bookings have also begun for the second batch, which will be delivered in late March or April 2025.
