The Ram Temple in Ayodhya is preparing for the big ceremony scheduled to be on August 5. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also likely to attend this event.

6 Days prior to the big Ayodhya Ram Temple event a junior priest, Pradeep Das of the temple has been tested coronavirus positive. Pradeep worked under the head priest Acharya Satyendra Das at the Ram Temple.

He has been into home isolation since the test.

At least 16 police personnel on duty at the Ram Temple have also been tested coronavirus positive.

However, it is worth mentioning that all the policemen and priests were subjected to rapid antigen Covid-19 tests and their RT-PCR tests have not yet come in.

PM Narendra Modi was expected to attend this event on August 5. The trust member of the Ram Mandir said that looking at the pandemic conditions the ceremony will only be attended by 200 people following all social distancing norms.

The reports tell that separate block would be made for people. One block will accommodate 50 people. While one block will be for political leaders and those associated with the Ram temple movement, another block will be for priests and religious leaders.

The CM of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath will also attend the event along with Murli Manohar Joshi, LK Advani, Kalyan Singh and Uma Bharti.
