Heat Waves At Madhya Pradesh and Western Rajasthan – Warnings Issued
New Delhi: Delhi always faces the harshest summers and this year too the temperature reached 47.1-degree Celsius on Sunday.
Churu: Churu in Rajasthan recorded the country’s highest temperature reaching to 48.9 Degree Celsius. Churu has been warned about the heat waves and the hospitals have been prepared for any medical emergencies. Water is continuously being poured on the roads of Churu to keep down the temperature.
Shri Ganganagar recorded 48.6-degree Celsius.
Jacobabad in Pakistan was at 48-degree Celsius. Five places from neighbouring country Pakistan were also in this list.
Uttar Pradesh’s Banda at 47.4 degree Celsius and Narnual in Haryana was at 47.2 degree Celsius.
Kota, Jaipur, Hyderabad and Lucknow were also on this list.
A farmer died in Sikar due to heat stroke. Almost 15 people have died till now due to the heat waves in Telangana.
As per the Weather Department, some places might get relief from the heat as Monsoons are likely to come on 6 June.
