Minister of Home affairs, Kiren Rijiju hammered the critics of both, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli on Monday, who were under the scanner of posting a video of the person who was caught littering on the road two days ago.
Rijiju said, seriously? Virat and Anushka need publicity? They would rather prefer privacy! It reflects the mentality of people who think so. Community sense refers to social ethics and moral behavior doesn’t originate with wealth and education. Let’s pledge to keep India clean.
Kiren urged the people of the country to support India in keeping it clean rather to criticize the couple.
The minister of Home Affairs twitted, “Come on, Virat and Anushka need publicity!! They would rather crave privacy!! Our conduct reflects our mentality. Civic sense is social ethics and ethical behavior doesn’t come with wealth and education. Let’s keep India clean. #SwachhBharat,”

The couple was mocked two days ago, on social media for posting a video of a man who had thrown the garbage on the road. In the 17-second video clip, the actress was seen admonishing the man for allegedly for putting a mess on the road.
Anushka said, “Why are you throwing garbage on the road, you cannot just throw plastic on the streets just like that,” she can be heard as saying in the video which was afterward shared by Kohli on his Twitter account.
She even asked the person to throw the garbage in the dustbin instead to throw it on the street.
Kohli while sharing the clip captioned it as: “Saw these people throwing garbage on the road and pulled them up rightfully. Traveling in a luxury car and brains have gone for a toss. Will these people keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same and spread awareness. @AnushkaSharma.”

Over Indian cricketer Virat Kohli’s recent viral video, Twitter was in two half in which Anushka can be seen scolding the man for doing the wrong thing on the road.
While some people appreciated the effort of the actress for giving a piece of advice to idiots like this, however, many of them said the couple’s main motive was to just put the video on social media.
Arhhan Singh, who was reprimanded by Anushka, went on to criticise the actor for “raving and yelling” at him “like a crazy roadside person”.
Also, his mother, Gittanjali Elizabeth further took to her Instagram account to criticize the couple and had written a long post regarding the incident and said she is concerned for his son’s safety.
