Kavi had been associated with the show for the longest time.
Television actor Kavi Kumar Azad, who was popularly known for his character of Dr. Hansraj Hathi in a well-known humorous series ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, took his last breath at the Mumbai hospital, as reported.
According to the sources, the actor was known to be unwell for the past three days and was rushed to the Wockhardt Hospital at Mira Road, Mumbai. He was gone into the state of a coma on Sunday night and today in the morning the news of his death shocked everyone.

Reportedly, after the members of the show came to known about the sudden demise of the famous actor, they immediately canceled the shoot in the Film City, Mumbai.
Kavi was the only person who was associated with the show for a long time and his character of Dr. Hansraj Hathi was so much loved by the audience of all age groups. Apart from this, he also made some cameos in films. He was part of Aamir Khan’s ‘Mela’ and ‘Funtoosh’.
